In 2010 on the night before Easter we premiered the Magdalena movie on national television in Mexico to an estimated audience of 60 million.  I was able to get Campus Crusade to donate the film, and had the television network to show the complete film including the gospel presentation at the end with nothing cut out. One year later in 2011 I used the same connections to show the JESUS movie on national television on the night before Easter.

.

.

In 2009 I helped YWAM to Mexico City for a two-year outreach strategy called “Mega Cities.” During the first year I worked behind the scenes to help the leaders set up Mega Cities outreach for the following year. In 2010 over 1000 YWAM short-term missionaries came to Mexico City. For the most part many dreams and plans for the year-long YWAM outreach did not work out. However a great result from the year was a YWAM base was established in Mexico City.

On October 31, 2009 I left the staff of Campus Crusade for Christ to join the staff of Global Service Associates (GSA). I sent a letter to my support team informing them that after over 20 years with Campus Crusade I was changing to work under another organization. With GSA I am completely supported by donations. I receive no funding from GSA or from any other source than my financial support team. Almost everyone on my support team moved their giving from Campus Crusade to my account with GSA and I continued on in Mexico City.

In 2008 along with my co-director Joe Cross, we brough Rick Warren, author of The Purpose Driven Life to Mexico City. Rick spoke to a gathering of 3000 Mexico City pastors at the World Trade Center. The night before large even he spoke to a private gathering of leaders. Having Rick Warren come to Mexico City resulted in significant changes. Shortly after this event my Joe Cross resigned and returned to the USA. The connections made from bringing in Rick Warren opened significant doors to working with Catholic and Protestant leaders in Mexico.

In 2005 I took to consulting trip to Mexico City to give help structure to expand Campus Crusade for Christ in Mexico.I had no desire to ever live in a city, much less Mexico City. While on this trip I went to the top of the Latin America Tower to pray for the city. On the observation deck high above the city I experienced a vision and calling to come to Mexico City. I returned home and started transitioning out of my role as State Director for Campus Crusade. In September I moved to Mexico City.
